Market Briefs

India Market Briefs

Dated context on Indian market developments, with links to cited reporting and filings. These briefs are an archive of published editions, not a live quote feed.

How to read a market brief

Each edition is a snapshot of what was known on its publication date. Check that date before using a figure: index levels, foreign investor flows and commodity prices can change after the brief was written. The linked reports and filings let you trace the numbers back to their sources.

We describe market moves and their possible context, but a one-day change does not establish a trend or tell you what to buy. Compare a reported move with your own time horizon and portfolio exposure. For a framework, read our portfolio risk guide and use the SIP calculator to explore long-term assumptions separately from the daily news.

When we publish a new edition, it appears above older ones. We keep past editions available as historical context; they are not revised to look like current market updates.
