1. Introduction
StockAnalyzer AI operates stockanalyzerai.in from India. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not store, and how third-party services work on our site.
2. Portfolio screenshots (analyzer)
When you upload a portfolio screenshot for AI analysis, it is sent over HTTPS to our processing service and then to an AI model provider for inference. Our current processing code uses Google Gemini, with an Amazon Bedrock model as a fallback when configured. We do not intentionally write screenshots or holdings to our own database. These providers process the data under their own terms and retention policies. Please crop out account numbers and other identifiers before uploading.
3. Newsletter (optional)
If you subscribe to our email list, we store your email address and subscription source in our database so we can send the newsletter and honour unsubscribe requests. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email or at /unsubscribe.
4. Data on your device (local storage)
Some features save a local copy in your browser: portfolio score history, watchlist, quiz progress, paper trading portfolio, and learn-trading checklist. Those saved copies are not synced to our database. Analyzer uploads are processed as described above. You can clear the local copies through your browser settings.
5. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID G-W7RKEZBE6H) to understand anonymous traffic patterns — pages visited, device type, and general geography. Google's privacy policy applies to how they process this data.
6. Google AdSense & cookies
When enabled after account approval, we may display Google AdSense ads. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads. See How Google uses data when you use our partners' sites or apps. You may opt out of personalized ads at Google Ads Settings.
7. Market data APIs
Live Nifty, stock, gold, and news data are fetched from third-party APIs. These requests do not include your personal information.
8. Daily Brief engagement
If you read a Daily Brief, open a cited source, visit the portfolio analyzer from a brief, or leave a helpfulness reaction, we store that event with a hash derived from a random identifier kept in your browser. We do not collect your name or email for these events. Clearing site storage creates a new identifier; the identifier is pseudonymous, not a guarantee of anonymity.
9. Children's privacy
Our service is intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from minors.
