How to Compare Free AI Stock Analysis Tools in India

A free tool can help you organise public figures or inspect your holdings, but its output is only useful if you can check where the inputs came from. Some sites run a fixed formula; others use a language model. Neither method can know your finances from a stock ticker alone. Compare tools by the evidence behind a result, the data you must share, and whether you can reproduce the calculation.

Four common tool types

  • A company screener filters reported numbers. Ask when its financial data was updated and compare a promising result with the exchange filing.
  • A portfolio calculator sums positions and computes weights. You can check a weight yourself: holding value divided by total portfolio value.
  • A screenshot analyzer first guesses the holdings from an image. A cropped row or misread decimal changes every later calculation; verify the extracted table.
  • An AI chat tool can explain a concept or challenge a thesis. It can also invent a price, source or rule. Ask it to identify unknown inputs and verify each claim independently.

A five-minute comparison test

Give two tools the same simple, fictional portfolio: ₹40,000 in one share and ₹60,000 in an index fund. The share is 40% of the total. If it falls 25% and the fund is unchanged, the portfolio falls ₹10,000, or 10%. A tool that reports a different starting weight has misunderstood the inputs. A tool that calls the scenario a forecast has misunderstood the purpose of the exercise.

Next, ask each tool where its current price came from and when it was measured. If a price has no source or timestamp, use it only as an illustration. Check whether a free tier limits the number of queries, charges for exporting data, or requires account creation. Features and prices can change; review the provider’s current terms before choosing.

Privacy and incentive checks

  • Never enter a broker password, one-time code or trading API key into an analysis tool. A screenshot can often be cropped to remove account identifiers.
  • Read whether an uploaded image goes to an AI provider, whether the site stores it, and how to remove any saved history.
  • Look for affiliate or paid-placement disclosures next to rankings and stock recommendations.
  • Treat a guarantee of returns, perfect accuracy or a time-sensitive buy instruction without a verifiable source as a reason to leave.

Where this site fits

StockAnalyzer AI offers an educational screenshot review and calculators. The screenshot is sent to an AI provider; it is not a live broker connection. Scores and action labels are model output, not independently verified advice. For a holdings check, confirm the symbols and amounts first, use the simple weight calculation above, then investigate any risk note using your broker statement and official filings.
